Star Mall Group hosts successful the 4th Retailers Networking Night in Beijing

Beijing, March 24th, 2011: Star Mall Group, an international real estate development and investment company, gathered today under the roof of the fabulous venue LAN in Beijing its business partners, excising and potential tenants - well-respected and well-known local and international retailers, for the exclusive event - Retailers’ Networking Night to highlight the successful development of its unique project – Star Mall Shenyang Plaza.

Last year Star Mall has successfully launched 3 Retailers’ Nights in Shanghai which brought an excellent opportunity to share ideas, create new networks, discuss business projects and give a start to new ones.

Established in 2006 subsidiary of Lippo Group, Robbinz Department Store has become a valuable member of the “star team” of Star Mall. Robbinz currently operates stores in Tianjin, Chengdu, Guangdong province, with a total are of over 150 000 sqm. Robbinz Department Store is occupying large area of over 16,000 sqm on the 1st floor, has become the second largest tenant of Star Mall Plaza.

French Hypermarket Giant – Auchan was one of the first anchor tenants who tied the knot of long-term partnership with Star Mall Group. Hypermarket Auchan is located on the 1st and the 2d floors of the mall on the area of over 24, 000 sqm.

Largest movie production and Management Company in China - Huayi Brothers Media Company has joined Star Mall Plaza with the cinema which will be located on the 3d floor of the Mall. It will be the first cinema of Huayi Brothers in North East China. Besides, cinema at Star Mall Plaza will become the largest cinema of Huayi Brothers in Shenyang and will provide customers 1750 seat, 12 screens and 2 VIP halls.

Beijing Retailers’ Networking Night became a great opportunity to celebrate another major accomplishment of the company: Star Mall Group has recently signed a lease contract with Electrical Appliance giant – Gome for a store of about 4,000 sqm. The director of Gome Mr Chang Cheng has also been present on the event to commemorate the successful finalization of negotiations with Star Mall and highlight its future plans of cooperation with the real estate development company.

One of the tenants of Star Mall Shenyang Plaza is new for China’s market Turkish retailer – Silk&Cashmere. Brand has already established its name on the territory of Turkey and now with support of the country mate Star Mall Group and its project Star Mall Shenyang Plaza has made its first entry to China with perspective of further development and expansion.

Other industry leading retailers such as world famous Starbucks coffee shop; Bestseller with its fashion brands Only, Jack&Jones, Vero Moda, Selected; Inditex Group with its extremely successful brands Zara, Bershka, Pull&Bear, Stradivarius, Zara Home, Xin Yu Watch, Yimandi Spa and many more have already joined Star Mall Plaza.

To date Star Mall Plaza’s occupancy rate has reached more than 60%. Opening is scheduled to 15th of November, 2011.
